Alphalink was registered with the Office of Fair Trading and Business Affairs on 13th July, 1995 and became Alphalink (Australia) Pty Ltd A.C.N. 074 666 541 on 1st July, 1996, trading as Alphalink, Reg. No. 1280279Y, ABN 32 074 666 541. We became a Licensed Telecommunications Carrier on 22nd May, 2002. On the 23rd December 2005 we became a part of Chariot Limited.

We are an Australia wide company and we encourage you to come talk to us if you require any Internet related services. In addition to our dialup internet products, we have a wide range of residential grade ADSL plans.

Alphalink is a member of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO).

Network Operations

Some of the services we provide include web access and hosting, email, FTP and various games including Counterstrike. There are also dedicated e-commerce servers for the Alphalink Business Account that accommodate all the needs of dynamic website hosting, including an IIS server supporting MS SQL, MySQL, Frontpage, Active Server Pages (ASP), Perl/CGI and PHP4.

Our main transit is provided by a wide variety of upstream providers, ensuring redundancy measures are met at all times. In addition, we have peering links into PIPE. Our network is accelerated with Akamai.
