The two most popular web browsers on the Internet today are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape. There are also a few other popular browsers such as Opera and Mozilla. Whilst the Alphalink setup CD installs Microsoft Internet Explorer for internet browsing, members are free to choose whichever browser they prefer to use. A list of downloadable browsers (including those mentioned above) can be found at our local Tucows mirror site.

Everything you need to know about searching the Web or using it is available on the Web itself. You can use the search bar at the top of this page to search the Web. Just choose a search engine from the list, type what you want to search for in the box then click Search. Try searching for a topic such as WEB HELP and you will be sure to get hundreds of pages offering online help. Each of the search engines in the list is slightly different - try them all and stick with the one that suits you best.
